Good day all,
Trying to find out if anyone knows of a XF Falcon conversion to a Ghia interior and also the mod that was done to drop the wall straight down in the Falcon ute and also the installation of long range tanks in a ute?
Yep i'm going to try to reinvent a XF Fairmont Ghia ute with long range tanks!
Any help greatly accepted.
Thanks |

G'day mate, I've pretty much converted my XF GL Sedan to Ghia spec. the seats just bolt straight in, and the dash comes out as a complete unit, and will plug straight into the GL loom and give u all the wiring u need for the electric windows and power mirrors and stuff, I've fitted the power mirrors to my car but I havent fitted the windows, shouldnt be too hard to do though, the hardest part will be making the holles in your doors for the wiring.

Well I have new Ghia doors so easy unbolt and rehang.
But I'm starting to think about a 5 speed manual changeout and maybe a more economical engine.
Any ideas? |

I've gpt futre plans of putting a 4.0i OHC out of an EF/EL into my car, but the body shell I've got is worse for wear, so I wanna get another shell before I do that. I've changed to a 5 speed manual in my car (it was an auto) and it was the best thing I ever did to the car. It woke it right up.

I hear that there are a few differences between the standard XF and a Ghia?
Any help? |

The interior is pretty much totally different.
Different seats, totally different dash, different console to a GL, steering wheel, door trims, power windows, interior light, pretty much the works.
The exterior is pretty much the same across the range. There are a few specific differences (chrome trim around the bootlid, for example) but nothing totally noticable. |
