| ha. just send it to them to get fixed. I did that and they put an extra heat sink in it and gave us free month of live gold. will still be covered by warranty and it takes literally a week, if that, for them to get it back to you. |

| All Xbox 360s have a 3 year warranty and they haven't been out 3 years yet so they should all be covered. |

Its such an easy fix hence people wanna buy it for cheap.
Look around on the net mate heaps of people had this issue it really is a 30 min job if you dont know what your doing.
Im glad i got one of the newer ones and its watercooled  |

Why would he lose his profiles? Take the HDD off it. You won't lose profiles from sending it away even if you left the HDD on it. |

| You will definately not lose you profile. Mate has sent his away twice for RROD and he still has his profile and 10,000+ gamer points. |
