i love it when the fords beat the holdens at adelaide considering 95 percent of them would be pro holden.Just had to put up with the new misses having the s**t on all day because i watch five hours of supercars and having to give her the 40 history of it so she could understand how everything works!  |

i no this mate i was there.
i didnt have a go at the driver who is in hospital fighting for his life.
i was disapointed in the organisers because they could have shortend the carerra cup or formula 3s to allow the muscle cars to do a few laps. |
fair enough but i dont think the muscle cars are racing for points
please let me know if im wrong
the carrea cup and formula 3 guys race for points and championship
any one have an update on the guy in hospital? |

Last I heard was that he was in injudced coma with serious head and internal injuries. Will be a close call I think. Hope the guy pulls through. Never like to see this happen in motorsport with all of the safety regulations they have in place in the modern game. But I suppose hitting a concrete wall at 200klm/h + there's not much any amount of safety gear will do to protect ya.  |

| Bearer of bad News unfortunately. Ashley Cooper has passed away from serious head injuries. Sad end to the start of the V8 supercar series. RIP Fella! |

G'day
Great results from the weekend. Good to see the Holden supporters at work squirming. The only low point was Lowndes abiliy to take out three Fords running in the top ten (WTF???)

yer it was a great race i think it was 7 safety cars all up.
should have been a much better result but bloody lowndes bumping.
they stopped for a minutes in bettween races and prayed for ashley, it was good to see the support for him and his family.
definatly a good start to the year for ford but a tragedy for the cooper family.
