Hi Scotsman. I've been so flat out with an EB Fairmont full correction detail but I will mix your stuff up and post it out tomorrow

Freak6 has just been around to buy some products and we started playing with the trim dream and his trims are now incredible. he says that it's so shiny that it's illegal.

Heres some pics

I must be doing something wrong because mine turn out nothing like those.
They are much better than what they were but do not come out like the pics of trims in this thread.

I followed the instructions to the letter too.

I need a detailer in Perth to have a crack at it.
Got anyone in mind Aurora98?

Millard - that first half hadn't been done yet. You can clearly see where trim dream has been applied, you can see my fingers in the reflection

Timmeh, are you using step 2 and 3 with high speed and no pressure.
Your strips are red though right, thats different than the black stuff

Seriously if you cant get it like that, no one else will
Might take a machine because yours are so bad

No I was just doing the window trims. I did the rear 1/4s on both passenger and driver side.
They come up looking very good but nothing like what you guys have achieved.
I haven't done the red strips yet because I bought a new set to replace mine.

thats realy strange. did you get heaps of black stuff on the pad after step 1? might have to give the 3 steps another go and see how they turn out. i feel realy bad now after recomending a product and you didnt get the results you were after icon_cry.gif

Yeah me too. I've done trims probably worse than yours timmeh and gotten them superb and by hand
The one thing that you must not do is use step 2 and 3 with any pressure. You won't get the shine if you do

Maybe its the pressure.
Don't feel bad because they are heaps better than what they were. They are just not shiney and wet looking.

Its probably the user (me). It has to be as that is the only thing that is different.

Thanks freaky. How great thou art trim dream
I just mixed up a one litre bottle of Step 1 for a fellow businessman

$125 dollars a litre it works out too, the other two steps would probably be double that due to their being less and more expensive raw ingredients in them than step 1

I did my mirror plastic again. This time I took the mirrors off the car and used bugger all pressure on steps 2 and 3. This time it worked.

It was me using too much elbow grease last time. Now the sponge where steps 2 and 3 are used for on the blue side are starting to go back to blue. They turned black before.

Man what a difference.

I got a question though, is any of these steps going to hurt the paint on the car? I do get a bit of over rub when not using any pressure.

It's great for paintwork, won't be a problem
You can use it to fill in swirls and then lock in the fillers and seal the paint

Quick notice on Trim Dream
Step 3 now has a new ingredient in it that will boost the protective qualities and give more smoothness and colour. Which means slightly more black mirror finish

Applied by hand to my car
