Any more news on the car polish that has vehicle-matching paint pigment in the mix? I recall you mentioning it some time ago.

Hi Mike.
Yes some news. I've put it on the scrap heap for now. It will only work on single stage non clearcoated paints and I'll have to know the exact paint code of each vehicle and then find a way to make the pigment blend into the paint and not be wiped off |

Hey Aurora, advice needed....
I've got some fine scratches on my windscreen,
from cleaning some bugs off with a green kitchen scourer.
Yes, with hindsight, I'm aware of my brain malfunction...!!
Anyway, do you have any tips or product suggestions for
polishing the glass to remove the scratches??

hey Matt, i was wondering what you have in ways of Leather conditioner/cleanser/restorer, because the leather in the EL Ghia im buying has seen better days in some parts. (cracks and dry bits etc)
if you could name a few products and if there good i might grab some.

Going to one of this company's outlets or getting their mobile guys to come out to you is the easiest way of fixing that. Their cerium oxide abrasive and special tools can get rid of even worse damage than you have. |

It sounds like you need the Leatherique system
The gear I have is for use on leather,vinyl and plastic in good to excellent condition. Fixing cracked leather is what leatherique does best and why its the best there is

Aurora can you provide me with some idea of what products would enahnce my car. I have a 2003 BA XR6 in Harvest Green. I have been over the paint work with Blue Clay thanks to some industrial overspray!
So what do have by way of products to really bring out the beauty in this colour? PS proces also.
I also have this over spray on the rubber trims but having sen the wonderful job that your products can do wonder if there is anything to remove overspray and if i go down the path of polishing trim will this only enhance the overspray? |

Well trim dream by machine would wipe out any remaining overspray. The clay should get most
Your wipers arms need some trim dream action as well
So I highly recommend that
For paint, glass and wheels, either the Prima polishes from Detailers Paradise in Denver, Driven to Perfection range from California or Menzerna twins and some toughseal or glare paint protection
Glass - glare micro finish and pro polish then seal them to cut out the need for wipers and reduce things sticking to it.
Would it be possible for me to see the car?

I've done alot of BA's and they really do go another level above the other falcons when treated right

NEW PRODUCTS IN DEVELOPMENT
I have put 4th dimension glaze on the backburner for a while and moved on to further enhance trim dream.
What Trim Dream v4.30 can do that V4.21 could not
Now that it is at the highest level I can get it, my creativity has turned to a tyre cleaner that deep cleans to remove brake dust, built up tyre shine, dirt and other grime
And a new petroleum free tyre gel that must last two months on ultra high performance road tyres and 1 month on hard compound tyres
I cannot come up with a catchy name for the cleaner but I am going to call the Tyre gel - BURNOUT because no sun, rain, hail or mud can strip it off, it won't turn the tyres brown and is UV stable
This is a temperature reactive gel that will loose some shine during the time you drive the car but when the car is parked overnight, the shine will return
Another mix that I will give out is to AU Falcon sedan owners here for peanuts when they order trim dream is the LIQUID TRIMS spray on plastic
This will turn the higher ext door trims to reflective black after four or five applications and also protect them
Just spray some on a towel and rub in with no pressure
This is after trim dream
Dry feel but wet look |

I have three questions:
1. My paint is a bit screwed I think. Occasionally when it is dry and I wipe my hand over the paint, I get a white powder on my fingers (my car is white). This only happens on the bonnet, roof, and boot so I am guessing it is weather damage.
What can I do to preserve this paint as I do not have the money to fix it just yet? What is the best product to use to protect it as best as I can?
2. I have noticed I have fingerprint marks on the tops of the doors and the like that I cannot get out with a wash (I clean my car reguarly). How can remove these marks? I believe this relates to the detail mentioned in my first question.
3. Could you sum up one product which you think is the best for each area of detailing? For example, glass cleaner, polish, wax, etc etc?

It sounds like you have got oxidation from UV rays and bleaching
Do you go to the beach much? You don't live near it so I doubt it

Simple - Wash, Clay, Toughseal step 1 to remove some or all of the oxidation without removing any paint
Then if the paint is bad enough, Prima Cut or Prima Swirl by hand with a master choice foam pad or machine polisher and then Driven To Perfection Auto Polish

Glass Cleaner - Driven Glass Compound - removes even the harshest lime scale, calcium water marks and other stains from car windows, shower screen, boats and all types of window materials
Polish - Abrasive: Menzerna, Prima, Driven, Sonus, Hi Temp, Dinitrol, Four Star
Polish - Non Abr : Ultra Gloss, Driven, Glare, Toughseal, Permagard, Four Star
Detail Spray - Mine of course
Sealant : Glare, Permagard, Toughseal, Zaino, Driven, Nyalic
Wax - Durability - Collinite, Swissol, Zymol
Wax - Looks - P21s, Swissol, Pinnacle
