Hullo
Just wondering if you can still buy the chrome strip for the E series?
Rang Ford and they just said straight out it was obsolite
Also can you get those little bottles of touch up paint? (in my case polanisan Green) ?

| You can buy the thinner chrome strips that are used on the ba, bf fairmonts but other than that i dont know if ford will make the eseries chrome strips available again. |

Yeh, there was someone selling lengths of it for a while but I cant see any on there
Apparently you can get it from autobahn but closest one is 160K away  |

For 5mm wide for 5m its about $26 at mates rates plus postage whenever you want it. |

umm, 5mm wide is way to narrow for an ED. Need to be more like 12 or 15mm.

| you can buy chrome strips from autobarn... they are about 6 mm wide but u have to cover the top half of the strip first and then cover the bottom half... its $11 for like 5 or 6 metres and ull need two rolls which will do the whole car |

Ive got a roll of it... well half a roll.
Bought it for my EA fairmont, only fits the front and rear bumpers, the stuff on the side of the door's are a stick on.

| I know on the EA (dount they would change it on the ED) its not an insert like the bumber, the chorme "moulding" is actually part of the door with chrome sticker on it... i found that out AFTER i bought 25 metres of stripping lol |

I have seen one guy actually stick the mould over the top of the mould on the door trims. It looked good, just protruded a couple of mil.
