Hello all, welcome to Raptor Superchargers Products
This is Tim from Raptor, you will have the attention of the man himself!
Today marks our first dedicated effort to introduce Raptor into the Blue Oval camp, we have a range that will be expanded in the future.
We will list the various kits and models in some new threads that I will get to shortly, pictures etc will be added in.
This is a fully interactive sub forum where everyone can post, ask questions, criticise (with reason) and put forward ideas etc for what they would like to see.

We hadn't planned on anything at this stage for this engine, would need to be geeed up a fair bit for this one.
How many out there want something like this, have you taken a look at the fellow on this forum with the Raptor V on his EB XR8 (i think it is). If I got a bracket copy from him then we could do it, I don't have a car to work on of this model, so unless we can talk this fella into helping out then ........... it might go nowhere for now. If we got the bracket then probably the kit would be not to exhorbitant for price either.
Let me know your thoughts |

Good on ya Tim, hopefully you'll have a kit ready for the EF/EL, as the owners of one make up the majority of members on here.
All you need is a couple of long term members to purchase one & post a honest & unbiased opinion. even better still is provide a link to another site that makes up a bulk of your product.
it can be tough at times to get a foothold in the market, especially for customers that are a bit pedantic on something new. word of mouth is probably one of the best way to get the product & service across! |

Welcom tim
So, by the sounds of it you've been working on other cars up until now??? Been giving the Gen3 boys an advantage or something hey? haha.
How you finding the ford motors in terms of force feeding them? I was running a CAPA setup on 5L for a couple of years and was amazed at how well the motor took it, pretty much bolt on and off you go. |

| Welcome Tim, good to see you on board as a sponsor. Looking forward to getting my kit up & running on my dual-fuel AU and seeing how much I have to upgrade the LPG system. I'll really be blowing some gas then LOL! |

Slick
Yep we have a couple of those lined up and good to go when we are. Its fair to say that all our activities in the Holden camp may largely be unknown, but checking something like Just Commodores forum is a great start.
People here I believe are able to tell if a product is good and it won't be long before its clear that the way we operate with our other kits will carry forward to the Ford product we are offering. Well engineered and direct fit by following instructions may amaze many but I realise quite well the inconvenience of having gear which needs modidcation to fit or just plain doesn't fit. Our BA - BF kits are bomb proof and fit up first go, tunes are good ... everything goes in its place without a problem. Those who have them have been extremely pleased and i know everyone of them could make more with a custom tune, but thats not an option everyone has available to them. |

Hey Tim,
Just wondering if you could describe in more detail more aspects of the Raptor V design in comparison to the Powerdyne or Vortech, namely:
1. The type of internal drive ...GEAR or BELT?
2. The internal drive cooling ...SEALED OIL and / or AIR?
3. The bearings?
4. The impeller design / construction itself?
5. The various pulley size / psi combo's available?
6. The rpm at which boost eases in (and approx psi) and the rpm at which full boost (with approx psi) is reached?
Also, with the BA XR6T injectors you are supplying ...do you foresee a possible need for a larger fuel pump?
Do you also think that the Ford stock fuel pressure regulators (270-300 kPa) will cope OK?
Cheers. |

yes, any proposal for AU XR8 kit that is competitive in price against the CAPA kit?
I think if you had a good priced quality kit, it would be very successful. |
