Yup^^^^.
It will more than likely be a bigger selling point but it wont be a collectable.
just look at the HSV300's gettin about, they are worth more than the regular senator/R8 but are less than half the price the came out with. |

Mate, Ford have slashed prices on R-Specs to move them all.
This does not bode well for a car becoming 'collectable'.
And you can advertise a cobra for whatever you want, doesn't mean it's actually selling for 100k+ |

R Spec = new suspension package (I think it's only re-valved shocks)
Dose = bad (unless you're a hecktic muzza in a VL) |

The last r spec badges i had sold for $200 each on ebay!
Was quite funny!
It wont really go up in value - there wasnt anything too special about them. But id keep the exterior stock, if you had an xr6 turbo id say mod it, but its an fpv! |

Its sick.
If i was you and you really wanted to mod it, wait yr maybe a little more and get all ur services done on time regurlary at same place. Become REALLY good friends with the deal as in never argue or winge about the price of s**t and then Mod cos thats the best chance of getting anything that breaks fixed under warrenty
Trust me i used to work as a machanic at Ford in Canberra and we had some seriously modded Turbos and GT's and they still had warrenty to an extent of not continuassly blowing s**t up.
