Ok, I'll take a look at mine shortly ...also see if I can get pics.

I'll also take a squizz at the manual regarding the compressor.

OK ...Compressor is a Sanden TRV 105 from my EF / EL manual.

There is one AC hose that comes out forward heading towards the radiator, almost perpendicular to the drive belt / pulley direction ...the other hose heads off in the opposite direction into the bay.

I believe this is different to the AU set-up, and is the same for both EF / EL.

So yeah, the bracket will have to clear this front hose.

I've also taken a pic of the page in my manual, that clearly shows the arrangement ...will post it shortly.

I think it isn't an EA CPI. Mainly because in that image, there is a serpentine belt set up and no clutch fan.

That pic came straight out of an Ellery's FALCON / FAIRLANE EF / EL 94-98 Manual ...so I doubt it's an EA CPI.

Thanks Tim!

I have elaborated with further questions in your general Raptor Supercharger thread http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=63055&start=20 just to keep this EF / EL thread tidy!

Cheers.

Yep, 4.2 litre petrol.

The brackets would be the only thing needed in the kit then the fueling side and piping can be sorted out by the owner.

notice the hose arangement?? the EA a/c compressors have 2 separate bolts, and 2 separate hoses, EFs have the one bolt through the center of the black block. Ea's also have a multi-rib belt, a 5pk-915, and in the pic, there is an absence of self tensioner...
There are also no elec fans either and no BBM manifold.. look at the metal pipe out of the thermostat housing, it goes straight into the manifold, the EA-onwards MPFI goes to a rubber hose off a bracket..

also, check out the placement of the dip-stick tube. all the EF-ELs i know have it come though the middle of the manifold. that one clearly comes though on the end of the manifold, near that metal water pipe from the thermostat housing,

The Ellery's Manual I have on PDF seems to reuse a few older pictures from previous models, and I suggest this is the case here as well.

Picky bastards, the pics of my compressor show the same AC hose set-up ...that manual pic was only a guide anyway.

lets keep this thread about blowers boys!! so what are the typical power output on one of these, say running at 7-10psi with standard internals?? and will the internals need to be changed or could a stockish falcon cope with it??
