nar its a nice colour for luxury cars. i noticed that none of the cars in the thread have 18 or 19 inch ford wheels. most are aftermarket wheels.

The NC/DC factory mags are 15". Besides always have been and always will be a fan of the chrome look

| Quote: | also whats the go with the side pin striping.. white cars never had them, my green one does, daves cardinal red one does, but others dont. was it an option? or for series 2 maybe? did series 3 change in any way apart from colour coding?
the white cars have pin striping it is blue or silver. not easy to see in photo's. it is also easier to remove from them as there are no probs with paint fade etc. "series 3" had smart lock. series 2 had abs. |

Found some interesting reading looking for the comparison's between the Lane and LTD. Lucky for me, I bought my lane from the original owner who just happened to work for ford as the sales manager at the time and it was his company car, and it has been mostly optioned up to LTD spec Only things missing from the standard inclusions of the LTD are mainly cosmetic interior such as Woodgrain dash, electric front seats and leather trim. Not sure on the LSD though. Mine even has the LTD bonnet . Just waiting for Dave to sell his box so that I can go for a run to Sydney and attack his interior for the missing links Then I can slap on the rear LTD badge and still get the benefit of cheaper insurance, rego etc.

Will post up before and after pic's when fitted | It bloody stopped raining for 5 minutes. So I put the new manifold badge on and removed the old cover.

After
At least the old cover hid most of the messy cabling and hoses. Got my work cut out sorting this engine bay out
