I'm only throwing this out there to get an idea on its possibility and viability.
Is it possible to do this and retain parts from the old system, to save on price?

Tank and gas line.
there is a lot of information from Brittain as you can do your own instals there unlike here with the regulations. I have also been thinking of doing this myself. I have found a few kits on ebay and webiste from the UK and Europe that are sold here too. I believe we could upgrade from a simple vacuum system to vapour injection cheaply (under $1500). The main difference is the electronics module, injectors and hoses. |

| You would save on the tank, filler, and maybe some gas line, but it would still probably cost you $4000 and you would not get the gas rebate for this as your car is already on gas. Better to just enjoy the system you have. |

Yes its a great idea if you are interested in doing some of the work yourself .
However the high pressure side must be done by a licenced LPG mechanic & finding one at the moment could be difficult .
As its a totaly different system , the old system needs to be removed & wiring taken back to standard .
Some systems can be plug and play as far as the injector wiring or cutting the signal wire for each injector is required , the 12v tacho & earths are required .
The injection system can cost around $1500 for an underbonnet kit
& the results are worth it . An earlier post quoted $4000 , well no not if the car already has a conventional (inlet manifold full of lpg) system on it
