Finding a solenoid on the net isnt easy. Haltech sell them for $125.00....stuff that, was going to try and get a skyline one from a wreckers, but havent rung around as yet.
How much do you think they would be worth??

Cheers

If you buy direct from a manufacturer you can save lots of $, haltech sell that valve for $125, autronic sell it for $150 but claim it is a custom model with faster coil response built to their spec, it also comes with greddy and also e-boost i think.. I have the exact same valve and its worth $60 from mac.. you wont get a solenoid thats worth buying for less than that

Hey Power Freaks,

Been busier than a than a one-legged man in an a***-kicking competition.
Got some more done on my set-up.
Here's the dump pipe finished.

The heat exchanger for the W2A set-up, flow to the radiator is as good as before!!!

Here's the pump, a Bosch.

You will notice the bolt holes in the bullbar....that is where it's goin'!! Stealth as...like the rest............(sorry officer i can pop the bonnet, the cable is broken......sorry 'bout that)

The cooler mounted, only a bit to finish.

Turbo dummied in position (roughly) but close. Intake is 3"

Start of new airbox...

See......told you i been busy...............

Cheers

Looks excellent!

Just out of curiosity, did you fab up the the W2A intercooler?

Im after something similar, have seen a few of the vortech ones, but for the price they're after, i might have to pass. PWR makes a nice small barrel cooler but It's just a tad too long so it wont fit without cutting a hole thru the bonnet...

Looking good mate, any ETA on when she'll be tearing up the streets?

Nope....too busy...bought it..http://www.frozenboost.com/index.php?osCsid=a386f9ceeec3f239f29b768e6e350291
IMHO. these are excellent, if i have to i will buy another one and weld it together, for more cooling. they have a 600hp one, but wouldn't fit where i wanted..

Hey Guys,

Here is my set-up in the car. Looks ok i think, just waiting for my oil cooler to arrive, and then i can connect up the oil supply and drain line.

My CAI and airbox

BOV is going here.

Hope to finish up the last couple bits before the weekend, then i can start to wire a few things up.

Got a boost control solenoid the other day, an A'pexi one, not that i really care, was at a good price.

Cheers

Dazzle, looks fantastic. Must be great having a little more room to play in the engine bay. The frozenboost W2A....must be the 350hp one? Does it have 2.5inch inlet/outlet? Pipework looks bigger than this in the pics...

Thanks man.....yes it is the 350 hp one, and in's and out's of the W2A are 2 1/2". The inlet for the turbo is 3"......

Engine bay is a bit cramped, but it all came together pretty well i think. For me the position of the wastegate and dump pipe was important.

Cheers

I was looking into these W2A coolers myself. Its tight in the AU engine bay, but I thought about sitting it over the rocker cover just before throttle body. I made some mock-up cardboard boxes in 350hp and 600hp sizes....the 350hp one only just fitted under bonnet, but I was keen for the 3 inch inlets/outlets (for airflow). Looking at yours though Dazzle, it seems that reducing the pipework to fit could still work quite well. I'll be keen to see the progress and how it all works.

Hey,

I would increase the size of the pipe work to 3 inch if the cooler is 2 1/2, you will reduce the flow. Would be best to keep it the same size right thru. With my EMS stinger and the 42lb'rs, she should go pretty good..

Cheers
