In a way it is... Tim needs spot-on info about the EF & EL aircon compressors to be sure the bracket he designs on a donor car will suit both models. |

yeah aircon setup should remain the same, I don't recall any Aircon revision between series.
Tickford_6 should be able to confirm this as well. |

so to clarify and cut thru all the banter-
ef-el 6 cylinder kit. how much to supply? and shipping to capital cities?
what engine management is supplied- im guessing it would be a plug in chip of some sort?
what figures could one expect from the setup?
cheers

If I miss the point don't hesitate to get at me again....... thats what we are here for
ef-el 6 cylinder kit. how much to supply? $4500 roughly - 9 - 10psi.
and shipping to capital cities? All East side $80 - 100. Westside about $125.
what engine management is supplied- im guessing it would be a plug in chip of some sort? It will be.
what figures could one expect from the setup? The results will as you know always depend on engine condition, exhaust sytem size and makeup. If EF EL respond like AU then 190 - 200rwkw should be a base line figure to kick things off from. I think before too long there will be some working the 230rwkw range and that will be a decent serve of power for a low cost. |

| I thought the XG ute was the EB engine in an otherwise XF body? But the XH was effectively EF from the cabin forward? |

sorry got distracted while posting.
XG same engine as ED.
Well if you need a R&D machine let me know.
We also have a Suzuki Swift that could do with some extra power,, no it needs power, if you're looking into other markets.lol
you feel the kits are ok to run on the stock internals?
or what would you recommend for longer engine life to accommodate the extra boost?
questions you've probably already answered, but hey. |

True as.
The XH constantly gets mistaken or called an EL/EF ute or XG.
The engine in the stock XH is "I believe simular to the XG/EB/ED, as it does not have the BBM fitted.
However the XH XR6 was fitted the BBM.
And yes the XG is a "Hybrid" XF with a ED series engine. |
