|
|
Ive noticed that a few people are hookig up their cornering lamps on EF/EL so that they are on permanent with parkers / headlights on.
Are they just tapping in to the headlight / park light loom(s) or is there a pin to bridge or something on the PCM to do this? |

| sounds dodgy to me. have you ever tried running a seperate light off the parker setup? the circuit seems to s**t itself, but id love to see how this works out. i have seen a few americian cars come from factory like this back in the 60 and 70's |

cut into your parker wire, use it as a trigger for a relay and run a totally seperate circuit.
I would also be running a switch in the cabin so that you can turn them off. That way you can avoid any unwanted attention from the fuzz! |

Thats how you do it. change the relay trigger wire to parkers/low beam, and connect it upto a switch inside, then, mod the cluster so it shows the fog light symbol, just for wank value. |

| Is there a fog lamp indicator in the cluster? Is this the case in all clusters? |

| I know EF/Ls have them. i think its in a tech doc on here. you need to run a line to the cluster and add a resistor iirc. |

Aren't you able to just make up your own system?
-Wires and Fuse from you battery to the two lights, then a switch inbetween so you can turn them on and off?
(of course disconnect them from where they are connect to at the moment),...
Is this possible?
