G'day
For some reason my LCD monitor is switching off about 1/2 a second after I press the power button.
I found a service manual for it on the web but all it says is check BD (WTF is the BD?) I pretty sure its not the back light, could it be the inverter? Power supply? The Monitor is a Benq FP91G
Thanks |

Haven't opened it up yet but I assume there would be, can't see it being the problem though, the light comes on and the benq splash screen flicks up for a little bit |

| I had the same problem with LCD monitor. It was the transformer in the back. Replacement cost & labour was about $130. |

| hmm was hoping it went amber, standby... then it might have just been a bad connection to the gfx card.... sounds like something in the power supply |

| How old is it? Cause most BENQ stuff has a 3 year warranty. |
