Hi, i have bought wood grain trims from the wreckers.
the prob is the rear 2 have lookd like that they have been stripped bak an stained, an the front 2 didnt get done, im just wondering if i sand them bak, should i just apply a polish or stain them and polish ?
an does anyone no what wood was used in these cars ?

| ... the ef never had actual wood? it was some dodgy plastic.. i got NF ones in my car and yea thats the case... |

| EF series one has proper wood trims. After that they were s**t plastic. |

| hmm, maybe mine are NL then? only just put them in... need new front wood inserts too, one is cracked the other is pealing.. |

yeah i got the actual wood.
so what should i do to get a stain on it, after i sanded bak the old gloss on it ? |

Can be stained according to your taste I guess.
Yes the only F or L series to have real woodgrain on the door trims was the EF series 1 Fairmont Ghia (1994-95). |
