Just want to say that your interior looks excellent. I'm fixing up my EBII and those door trims look great. I have a tip ( if your a bit fussy ) for your trip computer if not happy with how it fits in dash. Take out surrounding panel and file away where it butts onto the Computer face. As well 2 small screws can be put onto top 2 snap lugs into the top of computer. Just got digi camera will post photos soon. Sorry a bit off topic but hey...

oh well done mate that is awsome!
that usb port you put in the dash is some top class stuff. it looks liek a computer icon_lol.gif
what do you think is better a headunit with usb port or a head unit with an AUX jack?
i ahve been told the usb head unit takes a while to load if its full of music and the ipod dosnt need to load at all.
can you confirm the loading bit for the usb?

the head unit has 3 inputs ..
one ibus port with aux jacks, one with a head phone type jack and the usb port.
its good! its got about 700mb of music on the stick at the moment.the usb activates as soon as the memory stick is inserted. it actually loads faster than a mp3 cd..the other good thing is you can switch from usb to radio/cd ect without removing the memory stick..

Very nice, the chrome door handles do look very good with the ghia door trims... Which is why I'm not going to be swapping over to the chrome door handles when I put the EF gli door trims in my falcon, they just look d**k when paired with the standard stuff

Hi Troyman. Apologies for so long to reply re above but I was reluctant to pull apart recently installed dash to show mod. Luckily I have a spare back panel and have taken a few quick snaps to illustrate what needs o be done.
I used a Ozito ( Dremel style ) tool bought at Bunnings for $40 to buzz down the small lip and to access the area for the two small screws.

Drill with a small bit here and the next one over to the right. Also drill through the top of the trip computer body, there is plenty of room to do this but be careful. Then add two small screws to hold the computer in place and your done. Replace the pan
