Can I adjust my clutch's release point..... Recently put a new heavy duty clutch in my car but found that my release point is really low to the floor - basically no play. I know you can adjust peddel height at the firewall but thats all i know......

Am I on the right track if i look at the side of the gear box inside that black little plastic box. The cable ties to a lever, etc....

Does anyone know?

Im trying to find the almost exact same but opposite fix for my AU1 XR8.

The friction point is right at the end of the travel right before the clutch is fully released.

It's probably just because its new. I had a new cable and clutch fitted to my EF and it was rediculously light and with hardly any pedal travel at all. I had a whinge to the guy who did it and he said there's nothing you can do, but it'll wear in a bit and get heavier and pick up more travel.
I got used to mine after a week and after a few months it got a bit better
