| It'll be good for tweaking up the tune a bit for the higher octane of LPG. |

what has been some of the best results you guys have had with the charger kits on the VCT motor, also i see these kits are rated to a certain power, what would u recommend for doing a big power/torque setup?
cheers |

I was thinking about that option, How hard is it to up the boost for the tune. Im looking at initially running 6 to 7psi and then on a built engine around 16psi is the map cheater capable of achieving this??
Cheers

Last night the ute was put in at tuner for final adjustments to the shift quality on the auto gearbox.
We also made some changes to the drive belt and some more dyno runs will be performed this morning.
Should be pretty much at its final state by this afternoon.
Stay tuned |

Here are two new charts, one is metric one is imperial, take your pick.
What you are seeing is the tune which the kit will go out with - the 193rwkw and the hotter tune which will require octane booster for safe operation, good for dyno days or drag. The 2nd tune is optional at time of purchase.
We didn't sort the auto to my satisfaction yet, another attempt will be made this next week, its only under full power that I would like it to shift more decisively/firmly, otherwise it drives perfect.
Enjoy |

Realising some might want to be able to make a closer inspection
Here is a large file size
Enjoy the constant torque, makes a car nice to drive. Just on 1000 lbs of tractive effort there for over 1000rpm of the power band and then not much less for rest of it which .......... I like a lot
Not too sure about the exactness of the rpm measurement, the ute goes to 5700rpm yet this chart shows 5200rpm. Dyno Dynamics unit and its brand new, anyhow it will have to do

There is enough torque and power there to run a 13 of some sort, anyone else got an opinion on that?
The boost is just on 8psi, curve shape has changed since we changed to a shorter drive belt now, so no more problems there at all. I had asked for a no intake pipe run but the tuner forgot, will do that next week. I know it makes more boost then as well. |
