A number reasons icon_razz.gif
1. I ran out of the big LED's, only bought 10,
2. The Climate Control requires a bit more work, i.e, soldering in new globes to make the buttons blue,
3. I need a new head unit icon_evil.gif , f**k thing has every colour display under the rainbow, except of course BLUE,
4. wanted to keep the warning lights along the bottom of the cluster standard, bit concerned that I might not see them during the day
And last but not least, I actually like the way it's turned out, a nice mix of blue digital displays, with the original orange/red analogue dials/buttons.
Not every-one is gunna like it, but as long as i'm happy.......... icon_razz.gif

Ah well, I think I will leave it as is for now. I already had the blue LED parkers, and the LED's I used from the dash come from Japan (Ebay Special) and cost a total of $30 incl. post for 10 x T5 and 10 x T10. I used all the T10 but only needed 2 x T5 for the ash tray and Cig lighter lights.

HaHa! Nice try, but I think i'll hold onto them, considering I had to wait a month for them to be shipped in icon_twisted.gif On the door handles, I'm gunna do a major detailing job on the lane Saturday ready for the Koala park show on Sunday, so i'll pull the door skinds off and see if they are T5's. I'll let ya know icon_wink.gif
Here's the link to the T5's I bought. Pretty good quality as far as LED's go icon_smile.gif

Something that I think would look awesome is finding some way to get the BMW style lights retrofitted into our model fairlane, If someone works out how to do this let me know! This would make the front end perfect...

Ofcourse these lights wont fit into our cars but I like the ring around the outside and if we could get something like that working in our smaller headlight assembly that would be awesome...
