|
|
Greetings all,
Please note we have implemented new Forum Guidelines
The forum guidelines are accessible here http://www.fordmods.com/forums/guidelines.php?pageid=29
Please note
18. For Sale Posts - Must contain a photo of the item for sale and must have a price. EOI threads and auction style threads will be deleted with no notice. Do not post in a for sale thread if you are not interested in the product or your post does not help a users sale. If you have constructive criticism PM the seller, do not post that they are over priced or any other comment which hinders a users sale.
Just a quick note from the FordMods Administration Group regarding the nature and quality of posts we expect to see in users' 'For Sale' posts.
When posting a new thread in the 'For Sale' forum - please use the following format :
<Action> - <State> - <Item Title / Model Suitability>
EG FS - VIC - EL GHIA INTERIOR
Where <Action> may refer to :
* FS (For Sale)
* ebay
* FREE
Where <State> is abbreviated to :
* NSW
* NT
* QLD
* SA
* TAS
* VIC (No, not Vic the member )
* WA
Where <Item Title / Suitability> may range from anything like :
* XB Falcon Bonnet
* EA Fairmont Boot Garnish
* EF/EL XR Front Bar
* AU Clear Side Repeaters
* BA Rocker Cover
This is all in the best interests to help navigation and the all-round usability of these forums.
Your thread may be removed with out notice if the above is not followed
Buyers BEWARE - As a buyer i would insist on ensuring that you request your item to be sent via registered post. This will enable your item to be tracked, Registered Post is available on all items and is only a $3 extra charge.
This will ensure your item can be tracked and will protect yourself as a buyer and also the seller.
This post is designed to assist other members who participate in the 'For Sale' forum
Please remember that someone is actually trying to sell something here in a fast, efficient environment. Therefore, the threads should remain clear of off-topic conversation and banter which are unrelated to the sale.
However, we would still like to encourage questions being asked and discussion around the item being sold.
As a general rule, before posting in someone's For Sale thread - just ask yourself "Will this contribute to the sale ?". If the answer is "yes" then chances are the post is appropriate.
If you are not interested in purchasing the item, don't post in the thread simple as that. If you have any criticism regarding price or such - use the PM function and keep it off the forum.
Please use your judgement wisely folks. We'll keep an eye on things and provide further clarification where required.
Thank you,
