cheers for that gezza thought red books had missed one. aparently not. wtf would it make less power? ED's did away with clutch fans and went to thermo's, they should on that fact alone make more. weirdness. |
ED still had the clutch fan. |
Ive never in all my years seen an ED with factory clutch fans. all the ones Ive seen have factory fitted thermo's. they put them on the ED as a pre trial before the EF. |
They ALL had clutch fans, no ED came with factory thermos. |

very odd... I not long ago went and pulled a motor out of an ED to put into mine..
It had clutch fans... it now has thermos.
every single ED I've seen has had a clutch fan. |

so stepper motor means that if i modify my air intake it will adapt itself to the new amounts of air being sucked in and gad being burnt.
right? |

no meaning if the stepper motor can open up enough to cope with the extra air.....
had to fit another one to mine cos it leaned out above 90kmh due to the extra air being rammed in.
But I have moded my airbox as well and have the XR8 snorkal |

well i went down to my local ford dealer, and they said ford doesnt make them anymore... gay. and i checked an au one and it doesnt look like it would fit, but then i also noticed while i was looking through my snorkel, that one of the pipes that has sumthing to do with my gas (im guessing air intake) is sitting in there, its mayble a 10mm hole, if you know what im talking about please advise me, ill try n get a pic or 2 up.
but if u do kno what i mean, what could i do to make more air go into that lil pipe for my gas? anyone come accross this before??
cheers
