I'm currently with AAPT for my broadband connection but they have been messing me around alot lately so I'm considering looking for a new ISP. So, What ISP does everyone have and what are your recommendations as far as quality of service and value for money goes?

I was a proud Optus cable customer with 36gb (12/24) for $64 p/m and 4 months free per year.

Since I moved, optus wouldn't honor me with the same service but with adsl2 even being a loyal customer for over 10 years.

I changed to TPG, despite random disgraces, I gave them a go.
I now pay $59 for 50gb, and have speeds over 1.5mb/s bundled with Voip.
I couldn't be happier.

My pings are faster, my upload is quicker, and I haven't had any dropouts yet.

TPG, Internode and iiNet are your best options. Pick the one that has the best plans and options to suit.

TPG for high download plans

internode for good naked dsl options

iinet for naked dsl with free national voip - but watch out, they count upload and download traffic toward your quota.
