What are some good driving games?
Good xbox accessories? Do the intercooler fans off ebay work?

Should i get the HD DVD Player? Is it worth it? I have heaps of DVD's mainly interested in the HD Upscaling side of things.

HD DVD is obsolete.
Intercoolers will f**k it up.
Project Gotham Racing 3 or 4, Forza 2 are good driving games.
Those headsets are good, and get a play and charge kit along with a spare battery pack. A dual charger would also be a good idea. |

I'll recommend Forza 2 too, once you get used to the way your favourite cars handle it's just awesome throwing them around racetracks and upgrading the parts and tuning them
If you don't mind a shooting game, see if you can borrow Bioshock from a friend, the story really draws you into it. |

| Since I've finished GTA IV and GT5 wont be out for a year or so probably, I think I'll actually buy Forza 2. Have only played the demo, and even that was awesome. |

I got the intercooler fan and havent had a problem yet, i can play for hours on end and the console is only just slightly warm, not hot like it was without the fans.
Another here recommending forza 2, best racing game ive ever played, better then gran turismo games, as you actually have damage in forza.
For a shooting/war game defo recommend call of duty 4. |

Forza 2 for sure, only thing is not Aussie Falcons, though dare i say it a Holdung monaro disguised as a vauxhall. very addictive game and huge amounts of customisation of cars can be done.
intercooler, brother doesn't have on but he's never had the red ring of death either while my mates who got their xboxes at the same time have, one mates on his 4th, so i'd say yeah get one just in case |

Get a cooler for sure, lay it flat, dont put it on carpet, keep it out of an enclosed area like a cabinet. The reason they were failing early was the had very little heat sinking on one of the ic's. Anyway for all its worth Forza 2 would be a keepa and if u like 3 person shooters
it would have to be halo 3. |

| If you've got the new model with HDMI, then it's running the new falcon chipset and the lower power 175W power supply - these don't have heat issues that were found in the earlier models, which are noted by using a 203W power supply. |

I have the 175w version with HDMI. Should i still get the cooler? I can't see how it would be a bad idea.
Forza it is! Will get one at work tomorrow with the wheel. House-mate has all the COD's on different platforms and they are definitely awesome games. |

i miss having a 360 around, back to xbox and forza1... mostly miss my little vw golf with the 3.6 litre/all wheel drive supercharged conversion was a fangin little machine. 0-100 in 2.4secs iirc... not bad for the car I started with. by the end of it you get some wicked machines up and you learn all about how to set the car up in the chassis. gotta love the amount of simulation involved.
The dodge henessey is freaking mad when fully pumped... something stupid like 1500nm of torque
<3 forza 2. |

This game is going to smash. Tom Clancy does a flightsim and Ace Combat will be left in its 6 O'clock low.

No, it would just be a waste of money. No need cooling something that already runs cool. The coolers were designed for the early versions which were known for heat issues. |

Stupid question when were these "hdmi 175w" version released? And how do you know if you got one.
I just plugged my xbox in, put forza 2 in and played. |
