| ordered a VRS kit and a set of new head bolts, set me back $150 in total.. just need some more oil + filter and plugs and that should see the job done for $200 |

Hi There
Its your call, but with the alloy head, you really should have it
machined ( re - surfaced ) as a bare minimum.
Or at least get a long accurate straight edge and feeler gauges
and check the surface is dead even. |

anyway! bit of a update!...
all done now, cars back to normal driving nicely
cyc6 was nearly hydrolocked!!
gotta do a headgasket on my turbo supra now :p |
