XG are based on ED.
Be cautious, some XG's didn't have smartlock, IIRC. |

The other thing is the XG doesn't have a power steering pressure switch like the EB/ED's - the XG being a recirculating ball system.
I haven't found anything written about it, but most likely the ECU will likely report a switch fail code, which shouldn't affect operation though. |
