Rear holes are 6", so if you HAVE to fit 6x9s, to keep it legal you need to get ugly a** spacers.
Cut the parcel shelf and risk unroadworthiness. |

what ever you do just dont cut the rear parcel shelf iv been there and done that and its not worth it.
it will make it harder to sell in the future and if you get a defect "like i did" you will need to weld the sections you cut back in.
just sell the 6x9s and get a desent set of 6 inch or 6.5inch splits for the back. |

Im thinking of putting 6x9's in the back to with spacers but to make it look good i have to get it all custom but im not really into it as i want it to look standard.

id say if you want 6x9's just get the spacers, as when u go to sell the car in the future you can take the speakers out and put the old stock ones back in |

| as freak 6 said, keep it legal by using s**t looking spacers, or cut it, personally both look s**t, I'm with freak 6 just get some decent, 6 or 6.5" speakers, save the money you'd be wasting on the spacers. |

you can fit a 8 inch pioneer shallow sub, with a spacer. It will fit above the shelf, under the carpet. i had one in my old ef with gas. It works okay, but not as good as a sub in the boot, which is what i have in my new ef. |

| I was told 2day to go MTX or JBL all round with splits and run a 4 channel amp and it will sound nice and have room for a sub if i decide to go in the futre. |

| Meh neither of those brands are too flash in the speaker department. Dont bother with splits in the rear either, just run 2ways off the hu. |

mtx have pretty sweet subs a few of my mates have jbl speakers they pump aswell.
are u thinking of getting a sub aswell? if you are deffinatly dont waste your time with 6x9's.
if u wont bass without a sub get some decent alpine 6 or 6.5's. they'l fit in your parcel shelf and will s**t all over most |
