| my xr8 is, an auto, can i use eb xr8 conversion, tail shaft,gearbox,clutch cable,clutch, flywheel,pedals, and also the manual computer, seeing it is from the early e series would it still be ok to use????? |

Yes, everything will fit and work except the EB pedalbox and ECU.
For the pedalbox, get a Mal Wood clutch pin that bolts to the auto pedal box, use the EB brake and clutch pedals.
You can use your existing EL ECU if you trick it.

| thanks for the info how would i trick the el ecu, also where would i get the mal wood clutch pin, also what about the auto trans computer |

| The EL TCM has slightly different pinouts compared to the EB-ED one that was discussed in that thread but it is still possible. My ED 5L station wagon has a DL V8 ECU and TCM and it runs well with the manual. I haven't tried the factory thermo fan wiring harness as yet.. Some have had problems with the fans running all the time when they tried fooling auto spec ECUs. |
