Yeah my car was surging at around 2000rpm, when it was cold and would have a flat spot there when it was warmed up aswell. Turned out the the fuel filter was 90% blocked, now it runs heaps smoother and revs up much quicker

How the f**k hell did they manage to set the cam timing THAT wrong that valves met with pistons?

Does a vernier gear even let you put it out that far?

who f**k knows hes going to get the engine rebuilt for me and pay for all the labour and for what he has stuffed in the engine. Hes gonna give me a price on a set of ACL pistons aswell and i can pay the difference for them. The head is all getting fixed and with the AU metal gasket aswell.

I found out that the EL Hybrid engine use the AU crankshaft aswell.

The engine needs a rebore and its getting all new pistons (ACL race series) and it needs new bearings aswell, dont no how long this is going to take, hopefully not too long. The car might even pull better numbers then before.
