hi all, was not just which forum to post this in.
recently a 3" cat back system has come up for sale at a good pirce and am thinking of getting it but was wandering about peoples views on these. It has one large high flow muffler with a hotdog at the end. it will be going on an au xr8. Are these fairly drony as im just looking for something to bring out some decent v8 sound.
thanks for any help |

| I got a 3" on my EL XR8 and its good. I haven't seen how many mufflers or hotdogs are on it but it sounds like a tough V8 and doesn't drone. |

| Hey guys just wondering where you got your 3 inch exhaust from for your 6cyl. Do they do a bolt on kit to suit them? |

yep theres a redback 3inch tailpipe, then they make the rest of the exhaust on the spot.
heres a video of my 3inch catback with the one centre muffler.

well ive seen the redback tailpipe on ebay by itself for $270.
i got a full catback exhaust with the redback tailpipe included for $300 from a place down here in melbourne called "flexifit exhausts", he did say i was gettign the last exhaust for $300 and his prices would be going up a little bit.
it will sound different when i get the car back as it will be tuned and have a cam. |
