Do slotted make much difference to standard? Or is it worth looking at slotted and drilled? Is it illegal to change the rotor types? I have RDAs in the rear and to be honest, when I changed them from standard to slotted RDAs, they weren't that much of an improvement...they just looked better. Though when I changed the front ones to slotted you can definitely tell the difference, mainly because most of the braking happens at the front. So overall I would say, yes slotted rotors are worth it (no need for cross drilled as Frank said) and I would personally get DBAs over RDAs and get good pads with it... Much better than the standard ones that were on. Stop now after going down long steep hills and not much dust either.
