I've done searches but can't find good answers for V8's. I think I have sensor issues and ignition system issues:

Car stumbles sometimes on acceleration.. Idle is a bit off aswell (Moreso than usual with cam. Dips very low every now and then before it surges to normalize.) I got new plugs, new leads, new injectors and new MAF so that rules them out. Engine itself is a brand new 347 rebuild thats done about 3500kms, run-in dynod 2000kms ago. It's just the sensors that are still original. It's only been happening recently and it's starting to get a bit worse.

I am thinking the following:
coil and Dizzy cap is 220,00km old and points are a bit rooted = s**t spark (Gonna replace these shortly anyhow)
o2 sensors about the same age, or at least are pretty old. = s**t fuel management.

Am I on the right track or not? Also is there any other things to look at? I'm pretty sure it is a fuel system problem though.

What about TPS voltage?
I know this has been brought up a bit lately but the difference on my car is amazing. I don't think on mine it was just the TB size increase that gave it extra I reckon possibly the old TPS was out.
Wouldn't hurt just to give it a quick check.

Check the TPS settings, and replace the O2 sensors. Also go over all the engine earth points and clean them all.

^^Will do. I'm pretty sure TPS position is fine, it was set by my engine builder but I'll recheck it just in case. It doesnt hang in revs or anything and idles very nice for the most part (Apart from the random dip in idle.) New sensors and ignition bits are already on thier way.

Umm ?? Did you say points ??
MAf clean ?
Check for inlet leaks...
Check inlet and coolant sensers..
TPS should read under .95 volts @ idle
and progresive to wot to 4.5 to 5 volts..
EEC may require a twEECer to help calibrate ..

In Perth ?? XR9UTE should set you right...

^^Points/contacts under the dizzy cap are way fried. Maf is brand new, calibrated and clean,
inlet leak = possible, will check.
intake sensors are also old. Will check/replace.
twEEcer wont work on my ECU. Car was tuned to 311.3rwhp on a switch chip.

This problem has only just recently started presenting itself also.

The current change in weather may have something to do with it? Mine has started showing some of those same symptons again as the crappy weather has come along. It was running heaps better after chucking the new ECU in the other week and is going down hill again...

maybe our yew-bewt learning ECUs are learning how to be a b**ch. icon_razz.gif

checked my TPS at lunch. 1.035V. Probably drop below 1V due to cable voltage drop by the time it hits the ECU though. Will sort it out afta work.

Definately get it set to 0.98v or lower and leave it at that.

Definately check for vacuum/inlet leaks.

Definately replace dizzy cap and rotor button ad also o2 sensors.

Also as Dave said, check ALL earths in the engine bay, remove them all and clean their contacting points.

Do all these first then go from there.

Yeah my old Ford Racing 70mm had that on it, was SO much easier for TPS adjusting.
