The donor car was dyno'd today and showed an honest 125rwkw which is pretty impressive!

The tuning strategy so far seems that in this case a 6:1 rising rate reg, XR6T injectors and a new fuel pump together with a SCT eliminator chip. We might ask them to see what can be got from standard injectors first as an experiment

You should see the stock injectors peg out at around 160-170RWKW, or so I've been told. Will be interesting to see if this is confirmed.

I reckon you will be very correct on that one, however I may run a parallel development if necessary doing what I normally do ....... bigger injectors and a tune to match, saves a lot of stress on the complete fuel system, but lets see how it works out.

The kit was fitted to the vehicle yesterday, but then I removed it, some changes needed, shifting some holes into new positions then will reinstall the kit. Its a pretty easy fit and is definitely using the same drive belt as the AU kit, a good parts commonality between the AU and EL EF kits saves everyone a few dollars.

More updates soon, I do have pictures of the blower mounted in there prior to me taking it off again.

Here are a couple of pics of the basic setup as first installed, some changes taking place but you get the general idea.

Moving blower 11mm closer to engine and then reinstalling it.

Back again with updates on Monday afternoon

Yesterday we refitted the kit and its now across with the alloy fabricator so that pipe sections can be made up and jigged for future production.

Still not totally happy with bracket so a couple more minor adjustments to happen

dilberto

Mate you are spot on, car should be back there at PRE late today or first thing tomorrow. Dave Sheehy is supposed to be tuning it, not sure what you know about him but if you are into the Ford scene locally I suspect you do.

Haven't seen you around PM me with your details if you like and we can touch base ..... for a chat about all things boosting Fords icon_biggrin.gif

As for getting him into the local Ford club I can mention it sometime, he is very keen to talk about his car etc so maybe that would get his blue blood flowing nicely.

Mark

In the first instance the customers tuner is having the say on the matter, and that is RR FPR, bigger supply fuel pump and a plug in chip.

My preferred method is bigger injectors, clean fuel filter and then tune via the eliminator chip, that is the Raptor way with all our other stuff.

Well finally some images of the complete deal. These were only taken on a 1.3Mp camera about 7 year old so hope they are acceptable. Wasn't going to take the good one into the workshop

Let me know what you think about having something like this under your hood icon_smile.gif

I seriously don't know if we can make this kit at this quality level given that people will want a budget price, will possibly offer painted steel pipework as an option.

Enjoy
