I would.
Now your thinking.
Make sure the air filter opening is as big as possible.
Use your inlet for the head breather as an air inlet this frees up some energy.
Put a breather filter on it it all helps. |

Talking about economy i just went 459k's using 42.52 Litres of a C**k of mostly 98 with a bit of 95 in a full tank.Mostly highway with about 30 K's around town and generally a wee bit over the speed limit.Sunk the boot a couple of times as well.
Would not of been able to do near this b4 fitting the Supercharger.
So wether it's the stock generic tune or the blower it's still using less when cruising.
Though when i sink the boot it uses more but that's understandable.
And now talking about sinking the boot.
I did a few timed runs to 170kmh,first run 13.2,2nd run 12.8,3rd run 12.6 4th run 12.2 and the fifth run was 12.3.
So as the computer figured that i wanted to floor it it got faster.
These timed runs where on 95 octane with no hint of pinging and just goes to show that when i finally get around to tuneing it on the rollers there will be a bit more in it.
Was a cold night though so that would of helped. |

why not stefan? might be a few tenths off an official time, but still counts to give a general idea. Its not like he was claiming these as quarter mile times. Taken as they are they mean plenty. |

Every d**k***d wants proof.
Badcooky? how old are you man? been around the car scene much? why not lay it all out and show these skeptics one and for all!
I have no probs with the raptor kit but all I'm hearing is conjecture sort of speak. there's some young bloods around here that read's and learn what they've read on the forums and adhere to it like a bible!
they are stuck within the box and cannot accept the fact that there are other ways of Squeezing out some juice from a blowin i6. what they don't realise is, the Barra is a more superior motor then the previous i6! but only if you're out side the box!
For car sakes, prove to these blokes what the raptor can do! LOL LOL |

Nah it doesn't really give a general idea of anything.
220rwkw is it still? Running 12.2 sec to 100mph+.
When i and every other person i know who runs a bit over 100mph at the strip, aren't running low 12 sec @100mph.
I'd reckon you'll be looking at a high 13 quarter in a BA ute with that much power.
Estimate: 13.8 @102mph. Depending on diff ratio's and what power you have at the time.
I'm keen to see what it'll run. |

With 220rwkw, it might juuust go high 13s.
Being 4speed auto.
Comparing to BA Turbos, which are always gonna be quicker for the same peak power, stock 4 Speed XR6Ts are generally doing low 14s, high 13s if they are fit.
Generally stock 4speeds pull between 180-220rwkw.
Add a tenth or two for extra weight on the ute.
All theory though, only one way to find out. |

No comments here on badcooky's power or quarter estimates...only that a stopwatch is a legitimate performance testing tool.
Obviously 400m is the best, but a stopwatch will give a very close estimate of performance times. I've run repeated tests with a stopwatch vs. a G-tech, and they're within 0.2/sec of eachother. Will be good to see what the car runs though! |

In theory it could be...
But he's not gonna run a 12.2 doing 100mph. No-where near it. |
