What does the late series 185kW EL XR8 have that's different to the earlier 175kW engines and the AU1 185kW version?

Upgrades from the earlier 175kw to reach 185kw were explorer manifold and EL GT headers.

Au 185kw's copped a crap cam design but got the GT40P heads, 70mm MAF and 65mm T/B and some had 24lb injectors.

Also a different ECU profile, not that that is important.

Also have a 3.45 diff instead of a 3.23 one.
4 difference in total.

All good info so far, thanks all. The engine spec on this car I'm looking at actually complicates things a bit. For a car with the HO intake and cast manifold, I'd buy an Explorer lower, GT40P heads and headers and get them all port-matched before fitting (along with a cam & 1.7 roller rockers etc) to minimise time off-road. But for this car I'd have to have the manifolds off to be matched to new heads. Or buy duplicates...

BTW what is the stock exhaust spec for this model? This car has a single 2.5" which I'd guess would be close to stock. I'm thinking 3" or dual 2.25" would be a good match with better heads and cam.

I've got 3" exhaust on the port matched GT40P heads and port matched Explorer manifold. Sounds good hooked up to the ELGT headers.
