Pistons over here, even at mates rates rocket prices will be expensive. First figure out what piston you need.. "forged stroker pistons" is not really specific. Do you want flat top, dome, dish? Piston head volume? Or even the weight of each piston. Few grams doesn't sound a lot, but at 6000rpm, you can imagine the G's they put on themselves..
Twin turbo will require a lot of work and MONEY! If you get a supercharger from CAPA then it will all just work and will save you time and money. Just depends on how unique you want to be. |

Really depends on what streetability, boost you plan to run, purpose(strip or track vs street) and the budget.
Also with a blower or turbo, a dart block might be recommended, a boosted 347 will become a blocksplitter, so saying that a power figure might also answer the question easier. |

What heads are you using and what chamber size are they? That will determine the piston dich volume that you use.
330kw at the flywheel... Hrmmm I'd be saving some coin for a new block as well as a T56. DART Sportsman would be my choice. |

Single turbo is way easier than twins.. If you want to keep air conditioning...Trust me..
A single can be fitted where battery box was and move battery to boot... An S475 Airwerks [Borg Warner] turbo for around $1200 Or T04Z/ Gt42 over $2k..
NO point is spending big $$ on roatating assembly when the block is the weak link...

Plenty of nice turbo Mustangs with high milage std motors here http://www.theturboforums.com/projectcars.php
The tune and ECU will save engine...
330 would be about max on std block.. Depends on abuse ? Power shiftting and shockloading through trans breaks them at this power level.. Transbrakes with auto etc..
Dart, Man o war, or Fords Boss 5.0 blocks..Are avialable... |
