Hey just picked up my TS50 Kit ... its a GENUINE T2 TS50 kit... not sure what build number its off but Stretch (AFF) purchased the "Repairable Write-Off" after it ended up in salt water (thats why the kits in pretty good condition) with plans of buying a AU Fairmont to put it on... but that didnt end up happening so after 4 years of sitting in his shed i ended up with it icon_biggrin.gif... according to www.tseries.info there were only 47 T2 TS50s made (None in white) and the kits not available aftermarket so it'll be definatly individual... was hoping to get it painted and fitted before the cruise on the 12th... (next weekend) but the two panel beaters i know are on holidays until the 14th icon_sad.gif...

it came with the front bar, grille, fog lights, left and right side skirt and the rear bar

i think i'll keep the silver parts silver (Not all white) and ill have to spray my headlight bezels white, oh and looks like ill be selling a AU Towbar if anyone wants it...

Today i Fitted the Kit... it all fitted pretty well with just a few mods...
- it had a extra locater between the two bolt fixed to the rear bar so i just drilled the wholes into the rear spoiler
- i hav a redback catback exhaust that was touching the rear bar... so i had the bracket extended and a tip added (twin dump pipes)
- can still see a fair bit though the front grill and the gap in the rear bar so not sure what to do with this... (eg. reo bar and spare tire holder)

Also wired up the driving lights... i have them wired up so that they are off unless the switch is turned on and the ignition is on

hoping to get it painted after the 15th...

Hi. I am new to this web site. I am trying to get TS50 head lights for my auiii wagon as I am changing the front end. Cam I noticed you said you want to paint the inside beazels on your front lights. Can this be done? I am having my front spoiler fitted now by my panel/spray shop and they are saying the lights are a sealed beam and cannot be done. Please help

heres a photo of it done and an url that could help... cant find the actual instructions somthing like place in oven at XXX degress for XX time until the glue that holds the glass on the front of the headlight goes soft enough to seperate them...

what colours your car...? theres some genuine red ones i know of that were going for $200...

The colour of my wagon is silver. I guess the inside of the beezels need to be blkack so they can have some inpact otherwise silver is pretty close to the standard grey. Thanks for the tip. I spoke with the Doc today and may have my lights off to him possibly today in the mail. Thanksfor the tip. You saved me alot of time
