amd phenom x4 9850
gigabyte sli m/b , 2 1gb 9600gt's
8gb ram 1066 850 w psu 500gb sata hdd running raid
gigabyte 3daurora case

pretty sweet

constant 450 fps on cod 4
hope that helps

Got a link for where you got it from? I smell s**t.
I agree, smells like BS to me, brands not specified, but wouldn't be too much of a difference in price:

AMD Phenom 9850 x4 $288
1Gb 9600GT $199 x2 = $398
500Gb Hard drive $102.50 x2 = $205
2gb 800mhz ram $43 x 4 = $172

So that's already up to $1063, and that's without case, mobo, or claimed 850W PSU...

Also 450fps constant on COD 4, ummm... Ok.... Hahahahahaha! *rolls on floor laughing my a*** off*

Exactly, and no response yet to us calling BS, and I don't expect a response either, LOL!

Hey mate, I found this site really good in building gaming systems to a range of budgets...
http://www.overclockers.com.au/wiki/Gaming_Machine

And also this thread seems pretty good too...
http://www.gotgames.com.au/forums/hardware-133/gaming-pc-current-best-value-systems-price-updated-13-6-2008-a-15837/

And as stated, MSY is awesome for parts.

Careful if you post in Overclockers Australia, I love the site but some of the moderators make Nick look like big brown eyed Labrador puppy if you post in the wrong section, read the section rules etc before posting.

I still smell s**t. Prices from MSY as of 22nd July 2008

9850 CPU - $279
1GB 9600GT Gigabyte - $198
OCZ Platinum 4GB Kit (2x2G) DDR2 1066 - $135 x2
Seagate 500Gb SATA HDD $96 x2
Gigabyte 3D Aurora $155

And that comes to $1094 without the unspecified SLI motherboard, which would be no less then $80 most likely and probably more around the $100 mark, which would make it at a minimum $1174 and probably closer to $1200.

$1100? s**t mate!

450fps in call of duty 4, s**t also, unless you're running it in 320x200 resolution, hahaha!

Don't make yourself look any more silly then you already have!

I agree, you aren't helping anyone by lying. Our penises aren't directly proportional in size to the frames per second we get in intensive games!

Oh and I didn't factor in the '850w PSU' either, so add another $217 MINIMUM for one suitable for SLI...

$1100 for all that, that's the best joke all year!
