| howdy, can you run a msd 6al ignition box through a ems 8860, im going to be running a standard dissy (not coil packs) with a ems igniter and a msd coil, should i run the msd igntion box as well for stronger spark, or would it be fine with out it, cheers. |

| hook the ems direct to the msd then to coil, the msd will do the job of the ignitier so the ems one wont be needed. |

You will still need an ignitor with the ems, as you will use the points input of the msd which needs a 12-0v signal, the ems only outputs 0-5v signal. |
