Just reading the trip computer mods doco, the cables that are in built into every EF, are they just floating around back there?
Also, not so important, but does anyone know what type of speed sender is in an EF auto 6? I know it is electronic, but is it hall effect or inductive i think were both listed. Or is it some wacky s**t that i should know about?
Thanks |

| Cant help you with the sender but can give you a tip on the trip computer wires. The only wires hidden behind the blank plate in the dash are for the clock,if you want to hook up a trip computer you have to run a wire from the right hand side of the instrument cluster wiring harness to the clock harness plug, this is the data line for the trip computer. |

| I am pretty sure the speed sensor is hall effect. IIRC it outputs a square wave of 50% duty cycle. I'll double check tonight. |
