Hey guys, i just put a EL2 XR8 engine and auto into my ef gli 4l.
I swapped the wiring looms that run behind the dash, the ecu, and all that stuff... but left the 6cyl wires that run across the front of the car and relays near the battery. do i need to swap these? it all plugged in but have a few different wires/relays, i was thinking it was because the xr8 had abs and my gli doesn't.?
the car will turn on but won't crank over.. i tried the reset thing (leave the key on for 30min) but it didnt work. the smartlock light flashes really fast.
do i need to swap the ignition barrel and those bits aswell??

EL's take around 45mins-1hour
Fast flashing Smartlock is 'help me' I'm being flogged.
do it again, be sure to leave a window down to be safe. |

hmmm. in the doc. it says the smartlock will flash when the key is ON... mine flashes a few times when its on ACC then starts flashing faster.
so it doesnt light up at all when the key is ON. |
