Britek Motorsport will hold its third annual Open Day at the team’s Melbourne headquarters on Abbotts Road in Dandenong South on Saturday 30 August from 9am-3pm.

Fans will get the chance to meet team owner and driver of the #25 Fujitsu Ford Jason Bright, driver of the #26 IRWIN Racing Falcon Marcus Marshall as well endurance driver for Phillip Island and Bathurst, Adam Macrow.

The Open Day will feature tours of the facility, including the race transporters, engine shop, sub assembly, fabrication, paint and panel, machining and engineering.

Fans will have the chance to buy merchandise and used race panels from the V8 Supercars.

Attendees have the chance to win a hot lap aboard Bright’s V8 Supercar and two tickets to Phillip Island will also be given away.

The IRWIN Ultimate Tradesman Challenge will be running. Kicking off at 10am and running every hour for 30 minutes, finishing at 2pm with the winner of an official IRWIN Team Racing Jacket to be announced at 2.30pm.

The day will include displays from team sponsors as well as various Ford and go-kart clubs.

A sausage sizzle run by the Skye Branch of the CFA, face painting and other children’s activities will keep everyone in the family occupied.

“The Britek Motorsport Open Day has been a popular event over the past two years,” said Bright.

“It is an excellent opportunity for not only fans, but I’m sure the wider community who will enjoy looking inside a professional racing organisation.

“Fans will get to see both the Fujitsu and IRWIN Racing cars in their final preparations ahead of the Phillip Island 500.

“Our business relies on fan support and this is why the Britek Motorsport Open Day is an excellent way to give back to our supporters.”

Britek Motorsport is situated at 291-295 Abbotts Road Dandenong South. There is plenty of parking at the top-end of the facility with attendees advised to follow parking directions on the day.
