Also car serviced every 3 months, so using Valvoline Engine Armor oil, oil filter and NGK spark plugs as its a term and condition of the reco engine which is in A1 condition and goes well icon_biggrin.gif

I'd try for $5000 tops and let it go at $4,500 icon_smile.gif

Yeh im flexible with price if someone is a genuine buyer but aint gona let it go for nothing, and you on the ball for price as i was thinking the same.

Considering the following cars for sale on carsales.com i think my car is well priced. None on them have;

Reco engine with less than 50,000
LPG conversion with new Gas converter
New Springs and Shocks
New slotted rotors and pads all round
New tyres
New coil, distributor and leads
New AC Condensor

Some examples

Yeah i didnt look at them, but the reco motor makes it sounds like it was poorly maintained, it might not have been just how it comes across.. Ford 4's last 400,000km's if you stay ontop of the cooling system.

Yeh i know what u mean, the last owners wife was driving it and it over heated and needed a new gasket and he thought he pay abit extra and get a reco engine as they planned 2 keep the car for a few more years.

Then the wife decided she wanted a wagon and put it up for sale and i came across it and bought it on the spot icon_biggrin.gif

On another forum someone offered a $200 spotters fee for someone who could find a buyer, i think $200 is a bit steep but $100 reward isnt unreasonable for a $5k car.

Advertising it on the side of the road ?

Looking at it from a buyers point of view, you'd wonder why you've put work into it and are now trying to get rid of it.

I would've considered it if it was just under 5k when i was looking for a new car.

I think carsales would be the wise choice. Putting it up at about 5,200 or something, allowing it to be dropped to about 4,800.

Someone will go for it.

Airved

Understand ur point of view and purely looking to upgrade my car as honestly i want 2 drive a newer car with all the nice things like a sunroof, and as im a representative part time i can claim it on tax if i purchase a newer car icon_biggrin.gif

I welcome any test of car as it is in great working order and like i said im a picky person with my cars and thats why i spent alot of money on it. Who ever buys this car will defianatly be very happy.

If i dont sell it im going to do more upgrades to suspenion and end up giving the car to my dad once a find a good BA/BF xr6.
