Thanks Molloy.

I'm at a stage now where the next BIG area to tackle is the motor. More Power!!! But I'm not allowing myself to spend the money.

The car running beautifully with TONS of power. It's going on the rollers soon to see exactly how much. But I'm really trying not to spend anymore pointless money on it.

I fitted my new headers today... Had to move the flange on the cat to bolt up.

And had fun with Dad's new welder. Took a while to get the setting right.

Problem is, the zorst is now JUST touching the floor near the cat and there is a slight leak in the gasket. Easily fixed...

Pics...

Our mig can be used with or without gas.

We didn't have the gas set up at home so obviously we were using it without gas. Very easy to use. The weld I took a photo of was done with a medium feed rate and low current using 0.9mm wire. Was quite a neat weld.

Going in on Saturday for some minor exhaust work on Saturday including the addition of an 18" resi to bring the noise down a bit.

Then I'll be taking a little break from modding whilst uni exams are on.

Then after that I'll be taking on the project of adding a BA Sequential Sports Shifter mechanism.

Then nothing is planned!

I don't have any big mods (such as a turbo or blower) planned as uni is too expensive for that and I've been trying to save!!!

Nice ride you've got there, especially love the momo gear knob, how much modding was required to get it to fit? Currently got the blue and black momo wheel and would love any info you can pass on icon_smile.gif

There's a hell of a lot of fiddling involved to get it to fit at all. Let alone getting it to fit well!

The main problem is that the AU shifter's lifted a rod to change gears whereas the e-series knobs pushed a rod down. Then there's the fact that the AU knobs simply don't screw onto the e-series stalks.

Plus the AU knob itself costs around $100!

I'm selling this one though icon_biggrin.gif

There's still a few minor things I want to tidy up next holidays. But yeh... Then bring on the bonnet bulge and BA shifter install.
