If i read that correctly, the answer your looking for is either make a " J " pipe to hookup to the std manifold or you cut up the std manifold to fit a turbo flange onto the side of it.

This post doesn't make a lot of sense, if i think about it, it's looking like your asking " would a twin turbo setup be more complicated? "....

The obvious answer would be " YES ". More complex exhaust manifold or J pipe, more tubing to hide under the bonnet, 2 x turbos, 2 x waste gates, either int or ext, and so on.

On a motor that is has as much torque as for ford I6, i don't really see the point of twin turbo.

I'm making some small progress with my Turbo Torana project, i hope to have it running sometime later this year, pending time & $$$. icon_twisted.gif

Drill a small hole into the side of the sump, above the normal oil line, and weld a return pipe to the hole. Make sure you dump the oil & flush the sump out if your not removing it from the car to do this work, don't want metal shavings roaming around inside your engine.

I've modified the sump for my torana while the engine was out & upside down on the engine stand. Much easier than trying to do it in the car.

Cheers

Great thread mate, its good to see someone actually takin the time to go into the finer details of it all. Cheers!! its given me a way better insight.

ive to decided to go with the stage 4 turbo kits from the snort site ;

http://www.snortperformance.com/ford_falcon_ea_eb_ed_ef_el_au_turbo_kits.htm

for my ef falcon, iv just gotta get my current I6 rebuilt, and some low end work on it. What work exactly would you recommend for the motor???
