hi all,
my mate has a EB XR6 manual! He recently had the starter motor exchanged, and now everytime when he pushes in the clutch the battery light comes on and it stalls, it will idle fine in nuetral, only when he depresses the clutch pedal...
any idea's?, pretty strange isnt it?

That definitely sounds wierd... the only switch on the clutch is the one for cruise control.
I would be check that alternator wire is insulated properly, and so is everyting around it.. sounds like the clutch cable is pulling on some wire..

yeh thanks mate, i thought that is pretty much all it could be?
considering the problem only came apparent after the new starter motor was installed, i'll check starter motor wires. perhaps they are shorting somewhere? |
