Well. I have finally got my new wheels. Makes a massive difference to the look of the car. Next addition to the post will be fitting of LPG (although this has nothing to do with exterior mods) and then upgrade to exhaust. Until next time.

Havn't seen too many other NC's (or DC's) yet. There has to be more out there! Don't be shy! Where all here to share. lol icon_biggrin.gif

Damn they look nice lowered with some wheels and tint icon_smile.gif
Any of you guys have aditional plans for your beasts?
Would love to get a LTD grill...
I have a few additional parts lined up to go on, mostly under bonnet stuff now...
Slotted brakes front and rear made a nice difference, as did the Goodyear gsd-3 tyres. . . removed sls and had it lowered drives beautiful. Though some days it makes me wonder why i moved to the country with the well maintained roads (NOT). icon_rolleyes.gif The momo steering wheel was a absulute score, i never thought that i would find one with the cruise control switches. icon_biggrin.gif

now we're getting somewhere! Nice rides fella's. Don't suppose you can tell me where you managed to find the MOMO steering wheel w8nc?
The blue parkers make a nice touch performance_v8. I have the same fitted. Petty we're spread out all over the country. Not too many NC's around my area to catch up with (except for the occassional stockie driven by gandpa!) icon_lol.gif

Clear side repeaters are a nice cheap mod with big impact. Just done mine, cost a whole $45. Exhaust is my next job so I can hear the sweet note of the V8 as it should sound.

courtesy of an eb/d fairmont ghia- last row in the very furtherest corner of a wrecking yard- the entire interior had been removed bar the steering wheel. icon_biggrin.gif They were nearly ready to send it to the crushers. . . The best part it cost me $100 complete boss, switches and all. icon_lol.gif

I think I should start scouting out my local wreckers for eb/ed fairmont Ghia's. They seem to be the model with the most "extra's" fitted standard. Part's I am currently on the search for are the original woodgrain dash and centre console bits and one of the momo steering wheels would make a nice addition. Most wreckers around here won't let you scrounge around their yards anymore like they use to. Bloody OH&S and public liability to blame for that one! icon_mad.gif

or xr's. I have seen more than a few with the momo wheel. I think back in the day people prefered to option up a fairmont ghia rather than buy a fairlane or LTD.

MRE-50L forgive me if i am wrong but in the pics you have posted is your LTD seen wearing 3 different sets of rims? icon_wink.gif

Exhaust is worth doing, it is really sad when you have the stock exhaust and a 6banger sounds more like a V8 than the V8 does icon_rolleyes.gif
One of my first changes to the NC, i just have the rear muffler, no middle muffler, sounds nice and doesnt drone. One day I'll get round to doing headers.

Come on Guys i know there are more NC/DC's out there more pics. . .

Just noticed all you fella's have your mudflaps removed icon_lol.gif . Think I might remove mine this weekend to see what I prefer. Bit worried about stone chips and tar spray though. My paint is in top nic and not sure if I want to risk damage for a little cosmetic gain. Have you guys got much damage around your lower panels from stone chips/tar etc?
