|
|
im putting my car on the dyno in about 3 hours. virtually everything stock but a 2 1/2" exsaust. im thinking 130 to 140 tops. this is HP of course but its about 97rwkw. $$55 for a run at stock feels like a complete waste but im going to do it anyway because im curious.
Im going with my boss who is getting his VS done aswell. He just recently got a smaller pulley and an intercooler. The last run he did was 172rwkw with 82pulley on a yella terra charger, cam, roller rockers, etc... now his got a 71 pulley and an intercooler. in about 2 weeks his dyno tuning it. Yella Terra think he will get to 200rwkw but i dont think he will.??? |

| my air to fuel is shocking though. its sitting on 12-11.5 under load and spiking all over place. at 106Km/h it drops and levels then it keeps raising. like flat spots |

i'd love it if my air fuel ratio was 12-11.5!!! at the moment it's at 9.9 and putting out only 135rwkw. hopefully a new ecu can change a few figures. |

see thats why its hard 2 tell with dynos for readings.. essentially for an acurate u need everybody on the same dyno same day... otherwise nope
I put my ef stock on dyno last week and did 136.6rwhp, 101.12rwkw... so either the 2.5" is giving u approx 18kw (doubt it), dynos r only good for a ballpark figure |

my car was on the dyno a few days ago and i got 108rwkw(pet) 106rwkw(gas) and thats with all the mods listed below in my sig.
But it's also been dyno'd somewhere else early this year and i got 130rwkw, that was befor the "GRA" gas conversion.
I'll see what times i get at heathcote this saturday! That will be the real test. |

i'd say most of that 18kw's are due to the fact that his engine is in better condition then yours. Who knows how either of your cars engines were broken into or how much more thrashed 1 engine was compared to another. |

| thats what im sayin tho, coming out brand new stock, they should only be doing about 105max or so aparently, 118 stock with a older engine, it should get worse over time, not better |

true that, 118 is quite a bit higher than you might expect for a stocker, 110 absolute max. |
