iv heard of chemi-weld.. but not thurmo-stop...chemi-weld works ok.. my dad used it on my mums old XF about 5 years ago.. it had a slightly cracked head and put chemi-weld in the radiator was fine after that...not a permanent solution tho icon_razz.gif

I have heard that these types of stop leak solutions can clog up your radiator! Best to fix it properly, use brass welsh plugs with a little stag on them don't forget there are welsh plugs in the rear of the block also. Then change you head gasket.

I have often used that "Chemweld"or "Barsleaks "on minor leaks f coolant seepage from the block and it has worked fantastic. But for major s**t like head gaskets and welsh plugs, it is generally no good in the long run

I used it once on a Tarago I had years ago and it blocked up all fins in the radiator. As madmax said best off to do it properly then you know it will last. icon_biggrin.gif
