A.F.A.I.K., the facotry oil cooler line is built into the driver side of the radiator. so unless you remove this one, which means modifying your radiator, it won't. but depending on the size and shape of this other one, i'm sure you could mount it somewhere around the front bar - such as has been done with mine.

*sigh* some days u make me wonder scott

he's talking about the seperate trans cooler that was fitted to taxi's, cop cars, and vehicles fitted with the towing pack

it's a seperate unit thats plumbed in so the fluid goes like this:
trans->radiator cooler->external trans cooler->trans

usually fitting an external cooler involves mounting the cooler, unscrewing one line from the radiator, screwing the external coolers intake line onto the now vacant fitting on the radiator, then running the external coolers output line back to the trans oil line

using the XF cooler can be done, but it'd probably require custom hoses to be made

yeah, my cars extaxi with the tow pack (actually it wasn't bought from Ford as a taxi, only became a taxi when it was 2 years old), so it too has the extra cooler. i've just got the extra cooler running, i think it's because my radiator seems to have just been replaced before i bought the car, so i guess they decided to just hook it up to one and not both.
anways, it wouldn't be that hard to mount it (the XF one) in the place that the taxi/tow one is, if it's not an awkward shape and connect it up, would just mean you'll have to imnprovise with new pipes and some brackets or such to support it.
however, it'd be easier to just search at wreckers for the proper one!
